Message from the President

The year 2023 has proven to be a time of great excitement and shining opportunity.

Nationwide, our Sisters have continued their selfless work of combing through the poorest of communities for children to take under their wings. We applaud their tireless service day in and day out. I can say with confidence that Father Al is beaming from heaven at their hard work and passion for service.

The 5th Sports Cars for a Cause, our annual fundraiser event, is all set for February 9, 2024. It is our hope to exceed the previous years’ donations from our faithful Sponsors, friends, and new partners.

Construction plans for our project, the Digital Transformation Center, have been completed. Efforts are now geared towards getting major Donors to build the center. Based on the positive responses from our target major Donors whom we have initially approached about this project, it looks like we would be able to start construction by first quarter of next year.

Our partnership with Porsche and Don Bosco produced four (4) skilled auto mechanics as they were able to successfully complete the program and are now part of the global Porsche auto mechanic team. It is our hope that we can continue this program.

Many new partners and opportunities are available, meetings and visits to the Sisters of Mary Schools were done which prove to be very fruitful as many good organizations are willing to create career pipelines and training for our students.

There is much work ahead of us. That said, the past years have certainly taught us that the opportunity to go back into full throttle is one we can be grateful and excited for. Thank you, dear FACFI board, our hardworking Sisters, and our faithful Donors and friends, for being the best champions of Father Al, to serve and give hope to our young students of the Sisters of Mary Schools.
