Fr. Al’s Children Foundation Inc.
Fr. Al’s Children Foundation, Inc. (FACFI) is a non-stock, non-profit organization duly registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission under the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. It was established on November 26, 1992 after the demise of Msgr. Aloysius Schwartz, founder of the Sisters of Mary congregation, to assist the charity programs of the Sisters of Mary Schools.
The Sisters of Mary Schools
Fr. Aloysius Schwartz founded the Sisters of Mary Congregation in Korea in 1964 and established the institution and its Child Welfare programs in the Philippines in 1985. And in the past 35 years, the Sisters of Mary Schools (SMS) has taken care of over 65,000 high school boys and girls in its four campuses, in Cavite and Cebu.
Today, it provides to approximately 10,000 students from very poor families, food, clothing, shelter, medical and dental services, high school & technical education – free of charge.
